Adding in Sub-grid

Greetings All,

I have a customer who is in the moving business and needs to move to multiple locations / addresses. I created a new entity "Work Order Address" as part of the solution with required fields, forms and views. I added the entity as a sub-grid to the form. This is very similar to that of the default "Work Order Service" entity. Unfortunately, I do not see the ability "New Work Order Address" just the way where the button shows up for "Work Order Service" as shown below ...

What I see currently in the Sub-Grid is only the following ...

Wondering if someone can guide me with the "new" button.

    Greetings All,

Glad to let you know that creating a new entity worked. See the steps followed below ...

    1. Created New Entity

    4. Updated default View:

    5. Publish All Customization
    6. Create 1:N relationship in “Work Order” Entity. Chose “Type of Behavior” as “Parental”. Left all as default. “Display Name” = “Work Order Address 2”

    7. Add Sub-Grid to Work Order

    8. Save + Publish + Publish All Customization
    9. Success – Finally.

Thank you so much for the patience & guidance. I am not sure, but something must have been done incorrectly with the previous entity created.

I couldn't reproduce the issue. Just interested how it goes.

    Thanks.

    Sir,

First of all, I bow down to you in respect for being so diligent and checking on this thread.

So far, I have successfully deleted the entity. I am yet to create a new one. Hope to do this in the next 24 hours. I will keep you updated.

    RE: Adding in Sub-grid

    Sir,

I did the very same thing ...

    1. Moved the button to the very front and published it.
      pastedimage1576585423763v1.png
    2. Saved & Published all customization
    3. Cleared all browser data.
    4. Used the "InPrivate" mode of the browser to login.

The "New" button will not show up. I had hoped this to be a quick implementation, but I guess I was wrong.

I am considering deleting the custom entity and create a brand new one.

Currently you can see in the screenshot the "New" button is in sequence 8.

Drag and drop the button to the beginning (so it will be first in sequence)

    Save and Publish the ribbon

    Save and publish the solution

    Clear Cache in browsers

    Test

So after a lot of R&D, I believe I have narrowed the button to the following. I just CAN'T figure out how to get it to show up in the Sub-Grid.

    Any guidance?

I followed the videos posted on Youtube around "Ribbon Workbench" and followed the steps.

It is quite frustrating ... I have not been able to get the button to show up.

Any / All guidance is appreciated.
