Dynamics GP 10.0 Web Service connection error

I've set up the web service and a third party is trying to connect, but it's connecting with the company key as -1. I need it to connect to companykey 1. Is there anything I can do on the web service side to set companykey 1 as a default? Thanks

Win2008 32bit, Dynamics GP 10.0. I would like the connection to connect with companykeyID 1, not -1.

The person connecting says he didn't enter anything in his connection for -1, but it's coming in as -1.
