WINDOWS 11 update

Came in to work this morning to find multiple machines asking to update to WINDOWS 11.  Came here straight away to see if anyone had already posted about MICROSOFT RMS working properly with WINDOWS 11 and found nothing...

  Has anyone tried yet, does it still work.   I declined for now but would like to upgrade if RMS still works fine on it...

Great timing to do this RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS when none of us has a spare moment let alone gamble functioning registers on...

    We tested RMS version 2.02 with Windows 11 and could not get it to work. Ran in to peripheral driver and display issues.

    The only issue I've had with Windows 11 is SQL.  I haven't been able to install versions '08, '12, or '16.  I've been able to get the 2005 Backward compatibility installed, so if it's not the server no issues.

    I've also seen a dozen or so clients running the upgrade to Windows 11 from 10.  No issues.  Not sure if servers w/SQL are still working or not.  Guess they would have called if there was an issue though.

    Didn't have any of the issues Kevin is having.

    Hi Rick! We have had a few RMS users upgrade to Windows 11 and they reported no issues. We have not done any further testing and are advising against using Windows 11 with RMS.
