Error While converting Order order to Quote

Hello All

while converting the Sales Order to Purchase quote am getting the error "All items on the sales order are available" and the line item is also not coming over the there.but for other orders its working fine. what may the issue

How you are converting From sales order to Purchase quote? Is is a custom function you are using?

No, something is wrong your side, Standard functions are available only for Order and Invoice, Also check your screenshot you sent, see the button description its saying "Orders" not quote, someone has changed the caption, also you need to debug the issue why you are facing this.

Hi,

As per the Message it's says you have Inventory and due to that system restrict to generate demand for Purchase of it. If you still want to generate Purchase Quote please check Sales reservation for that Item.

To check Sales line reservation.
Select Item line then click on line -> Related information -> Reservation Entries.

On new reservation entries window if you can see lines, which means there is qty which is reserved. you can cancel reservation then you can create Purchase Document for it.

Still I suggest please talk with your development Partner as in base functionality you can generate Purchase Order and Invoice Directly, base system wouldn't give option to create Purchase Quote for it.

Bases on the notification, looks like you have availability for the Item that you are using.

Can you check the item availability?

there is nothing in the reservation entries also

But when i put another item its allowing to create. i checked the item also i cant able to find anything. what could be the issue?

As other mentioned, did you check the inventory for that Item with that location if available?

Yes inventory for the item is 0 and no reservation also.

but you see the Item card, you already have Purchase orders for 2000 quantity for that item.
