Entering Sales Lines slow since BC 21.5

Hello,

Since v21.5 we have the issue where you have to wait after entering the sales line number before you can enter the Quantity. If you tab through quickly and enter a number, it just skips the field as shown below:

This has really slowed down the entering of sales lines.

Has anyone else experienced this or got any suggestions?

I suspect it's something to do with the recent changes to saving on field update.

Yes it’s like that, we have to wait after entering the item no. Since all the other fields get validates

If you have any custom code that is executed in the sales line table you should have your developer check that.

If the sales line process is vanilla Business Central code you could contact your CSP partner and ask them to open a support case with Microsoft around this.

Hi, It is recommended to try the In-client performance profiler feature to see whether it is a standard problem or a custom problem.

If it is a standard problem, it can be submitted to Microsoft.

    Hope this helps.

Go to help and in that click on Help & Support and in Troubleshooting click on Analyze performance and in this you will see the performance of your work and check the time consumed by the actions and others functions.
