Does anyone have a recommendation on how to handle a retroactive deferral (generate/post deferral after the sale is posted) in Business Central? Dynamics GP offered this utility and I'm not finding a utility within BC that does the same functionality.

Retroactive Deferral

Hi, if you are referring to deferreds posting, I hope the following information can give you some tips.

Business Central 2024 wave 1 (BC24): Use deferral codes (deferrals posting) in purchase and sales journals

Retroactive Deferral

I don't believe Business Central has this capability. If a document or entry is already posted, any retroactive deferrals will have to be done manually using a general journal
