Unit Group Integration/Mapping-Issue

I'm still having an issue with the Unit Group integration. It’s still not creating one BC Unit Group and one Sales Unit Group as expected. Instead, it continues to create a separate Unit Group for each item.

I've already uncoupled the Unit group /disabled the Mapping:

Here is the mapping for the UOM:
and Here is the mapping for Unit Group:

Upon checking on the Unit Group-Microsoft Dynamics 365 - It creates unit group per items.

It does not copy the Default Unit Group on the Sales. and also it is still successfully syncing but still on the skipped field on the sync log. and since Unit Group is tointegration. checking on the product in Sales the Unit Group Change to what BC Unit Group Creates:

Question:
1. What could be the issue if each item has its own Unit Group, yet Sales still copies the Unit Group created in BC? Will this affect data in the future?
2. Can you guide me the correct process to make it as 1:1 Unit Group
3. Did I have the mapping correctly ? unit group is disabled.

Thank you for the guidance

    Hello,

This is by design in the standard BC–Dataverse integration.

BC creates one Unit Group per item (item-specific UOMs)

Sales (Dataverse) copies whatever BC creates

Disabling Unit Group mapping does not stop this

“Skipped” in sync log is expected

    Impact

    No functional issue

Just many Unit Groups over time

    1:1 Unit Group?

    Not possible with standard integration

    Requires custom integration/custom logic

    Mapping

    Your mapping is correct

    Behavior is internal to BC

    ---

    Bottom line:
Standard integration = 1 Unit Group per item. Shared Unit Groups need customization.
