Error opening Advanced Find on personal views

Hi - we are getting errors opening Advanced Find on personal views. Error is 'Record is unavailable'. Can ignore error then lookup personal views and amend. Happens on all personal views.

No issue when open Advanced Find on a System View

Error is in all environments we have.

So assume it is a database issue but not clear what record is unavailable

Anyone seen this as well ?

    Hi Marc,

    I think we experienced a similar issue. During a ticket with Microsoft we found out that:

    • in the old UI its working
    • in the new UCI experience it depend on how the entity is configured for the model driven app
      • for that particular entity you have to select all views in your app configurtion otherwise it will display only system views

    Hmm. Odd. We are on Server version: 9.1.0000.8028 but still have this annoying error.

    FYI - the issue has been resolved over weekend of Aug 31/Sept 1.

    Further update from Msoft :-

    Our development team has checked the details on your issue and found that it is a known issue for which a Bug has been logged to track the same to resolution. The case is still open with our operations team and the developers are working on a fix, but unfortunately there is no concrete ETA as to when the fix will be delivered for the same.

    An update.. I raised this with Microsoft who reproduced the problem in their own environment.

    It has been passed to their development team to fix this bug.

    I have same issue (only UCI) !

    Thanks Goutam. Same problem for normal user and system admin user and across all entities in all environments.

    I do notice though when I switch to old/classic view (we are on new UI) I do not get the problem.

    If I ignore the error I can then choose the personal view and edit it. 

    So users can see their personal views and can edit them after ignoring the message  

    Perhaps Msoft have made a change to new UI in relation to a view of the views ?

    Hi Marc, 

    Have you tried with different user or system admin user ? If I am not wrong user don't have saved view access under "core records" tab  in the assigned security role.

    Also check the saved view filter condition , data is available or not according to filter condition.  Try to create saved view for different entity  and see the result.
