Odata Aggregation in D365 Finance

Hi,

I'm trying to use the D365 Finance odata api to do aggregations. Whenever I try to use the queries as described in the link below, I don't get any different results. Does anyone here know if aggregation methods are supported in the D365FO odata api? Is there any pre-requisites?

I find very little when googling this, so any help would be appcriciated.

example: ~?$apply=aggregate(Amount with sum as Total)

Hi Preben,

Aggregation is not supported with the OData connector for Dynamics 365 Finance. You can find supported statements on this page: Open Data Protocol (OData) - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

If you need aggregated data, you can first consume data in another service and then perform the aggregation or develop another data entity having already aggregated data.
