Incorrect Rebate calculation

Hi,

In ax 2012 sales and marketing→Common→Rebates→Rebates, it is showing the incorrect "starting rebate amount" for a sales order where the is conversion of units required.

But where as in salesorders→salesorderlines→price details it is showing the correct "starting rebate amount".

Could anyone please tell me why this is happening.

Thanks,

Nithin.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello Nithin,

Can you provide us more information

    (a) about your system version that you operate and

    (b) the problem. Can you possibly share some screenprints and information on how you identified the issue and what is exactly wrong.

    Many thanks for your help.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    RE: Incorrect Rebate calculation

    Hi Ludwig,

Thanks for the reply. please find the information below:

    Steps to be followed:

    1) Accounts receivable->common->sales orders-> all sales orders. select the sales order which has rebate.

    2) open the sales order and select a sales line then click on salesorderline -> price details

3)In the Rebates group the rebate amount = -1.20

4)Now, Navigate to sales and marketing module and search for the same sales order you have selected in step 1

    5) select the same sales line used in step 2 and open it. The starting rebate amount= -1200.00

The version I am using is Ax 2012 R3

    Application version: 6.3.2000.323

    Thanks,

    Nithin.

    Good Morning Nithin,

    Many thanks for the feedback.

I double checked the view-price detail selection that you made in my standard environment and noticed that I don't have this selection available.

This looks like a company specific modification.

Can you please talk to your system admins / developers to get some more details about this modification and ask them to fix it as needed?

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

Thank you. I guess it is a standard feature, may be we should to enable it.

Could you please check it once again. Please refer the below links.

    Hello Nithin,

I don't have this selection available in my machine.

Yet, the issue seems to be related to a display issue in this specific form.

Have you tried to check the hotfixes available on LCS already to see whether it might be related to a system bug for which a hotfix has already been released?

If you can't find something on LCS, I would suggest having a developer taking a look at this form and the display issue.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
