Changing Price in POS Screen - Reason Code? v2.0.2

Hello-

Is there a way to prompt the employee to enter a reason code if they tab over to the price and manually change its price?

Currently if they set a discount using the discount key/button it will prompt for a reason code....

I am not seeing an option in customer options to tick a box to make this prompt.

Hi "sushidot", Reason code options specific to discounts (prompt or required) can be found in RMS Manager under "File", "Configuration", "Options". The registers may need to be Z'ed out and restarted for any changes to take effect.

Hi There-

Yes I do see that reason code ability for setting discount..

what I mean is when you "manually" override the price, is there a way to enable a prompt

for a reason code?

On my copy of RMS version 2.02022, it does ask for a reason code when tabbing over to make a manual price adjustment on the POS screen. Note that once you check the box in RMS manager to prompt for discount reason code, the POS stations must be Z-ed out and restarted for the changes to take effect.
