Open subgrid record in a specific form

Hello everybody,

I have several forms used by different users depending on their security roles. I want to force CRM to open the selected record in another specific form. Is that possible? Do I need to override the subgrid open record event? How can I do it?

Thank you for your answer. But I didn't understand how to use form selector with subgrids? How to fire it when I try to open a record from a subgrid?

You should be able to select form using JS and open that form:

docs.microsoft.com/.../formcontext-ui-formselector

But user's role must have access to that form in order for that to work
