    Hi Sureh,

Of you refer to the ones that can for example be used in relation with journal approvals then the answer is none because you have to create them yourself.

Since you classified this thread with SDK, I would assume that you want to develop something in this regards.

Can you probably provide some additional information on this to verify that you do not refer to something else and to ensure that there is no other standard feature available that probably does the same?

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig Reinhard,

Thanks for the quick reply, i think i did not make myself clear. what i actually wanted to know is in the Base product of AX 2009 how many user groups are visible to assign to a newly created user.

I see only the administrator user role wanted to cross check whether that is the only thing available by default on a new base product.

    Thanks

    Suresh

    Hi Ludwig Reinhard,

Respect your suggestion, and i understand the securities. but any idea about the count of the user groups. In AX2012 there is a count in roles, same like i want to know the count of user groups in AX2009.

    Thanks

    Hi Sureh,

In AX2009 you are on your own in regards to user groups and user group/role related security because only an administrator user and an administrator user group are created the first time Microsoft Dynamics AX is run.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
