    Hi Prasit,

The value which is presented on the form is a serial number stored in the InventDim table. This has a relation with the InventSerial (Serial numbers) table. Can you check if the record itself is still available in the InventSerial table?

    Hi PrasitP,

As Andre mentioned, first check if record exist in the InventSerial table. If not found, create record in this table and it should work for you. In addition, try to find out why the record may have been deleted in first place. Use same serial number and the item number for it to work.

    Thanks,

    Dear Both,

Thank you for your reply,  As I checked the InventSerial table is empty.

But I can see this the serial number in Inventory transaction or Inventory On-hand as below

I'm not sure may be something wrong in the setup of Tracking Dimension or other.

Could you please advise me how to check and correct it.

    Thank you.

    Hi Prasit,

Also the On-hand is presenting information from the InventDim table, not the InventSerial. You have to find out why the table is empty. Probably, you can check some backups to see if the table was filled at a certain moment. A developer would be able to recreate records based on the InventDim and InventSum tables.

    Hi PrasitP,

In addition to what Andre mentioned above, also find out how someone may have deleted the data. Either through AX or SQL. Verify if you can delete serial number after transaction is posted, if yes, you need to get some work done there to make sure this doesn't happen again.

    Thanks,

    Satish Panwar
