Currency error when trying to confirm shipment

Hi,

When one of the warehouse workers try to confirm shipment, he gets an error about transportation. The way this error is fixed is for him to go to Load planning workbench > Manual rating > and Under routes, change the currency to USD. I don't understand why this error keeps happening though and wanted to know if there was a way to make the currency under the routes automatically default to USD without him having to go to the Load planning workbench for every order.
