A client received the following error when selecting a default company in FRx:

Error 40002

S0022: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Invalid column name 'PeriodID'.

(This error occured while populating the frl_year_ctrl table in the GLX database)

**Once this error was received, FRx reports were unable to be generated for any company and the same error message was received.

The Solution:

The original default company in FRx that caused this error, did not have the current Fiscal Periods setup and calculated. Once setting up and calculating the current Fiscal Periods, FRx was able to build the GL Index and generate reports without error.

You will get the same error if for a company that is reported on, all the periods for a reporting year are closed, so keep at least one open
