Box Sizing On Lead Form (for Designers)

Hello all,
 
I've tried my best to create a 3 column Lead Form but I'm trying to make boxes/containers different sizes. I'd like ideally the left boxes to be fit into 1 column and then the Activities Box/Timeline to fit the majority of the right side (2 columns width). It won't let me do this and keeps doing a 50/50 split. Also I cannot remove this Assistant box that keeps appearing automatically.

 
Is there a way around this?
