Since it is a display parameter when can not edit and enter the data into the filed. Can anyone help me out to enable the field to view data and where should we enter data to display in the HTS field in the warehouse management fast tab. Please help me out in step by step.

To enable the HTS codes in the ware house management fast under released product. We have to use the advanced concepts in AX 2012 R3.

    - Go to Product information management > common> Products > All products and product masters

There you can find the Dimension group at the ribbon tab under SETUP.

-Go to view details in the storage dimension group

    - There you can find the Storage Dimension Group, if want the advanced setting you need to enable the USE WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT PROCESSES. Here we can't edit the existing storage dimension group.

-So create a new dimension group and check mark the USE WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT PROCESSES and save.

-Than when creating the new product select dimension group having the use warehouse management processes.

-After creating open the product and you can find the Warehouse Management Fast tab

-You can find the Harmonized systems code (HTS) under Additional codes, right click view details and add the new code and select from the drop down.

-Than you can release the product to Released products, there you can find the HTS code under ware house management fast tab. You can only see the code there because it is display parameter. you cannot edit it.

    Thanks.

In Dyn365FO you can set the value in the warehouse fast tab in the Products form and only read it in the Released products form (also in the Warehouse fast tab). The values are maintained in the Transportation module (Transportation management > Setup > Transportation standards > Harmonized Tariff Schedules).

    Hi..

I still cannot get this field to enable in D365.

My item is set up for Advanced Warehousing, and the requisite config keys are enabled.

Has anyone managed to update a product in D365 with this value?

Better late than never - Yes I have managed to update this field. As above you must go to the All Products Page. At the bottom, the field is enabled to allow you to select the value. This value then defaults into the released product.
