CRM 2011 - Lead Management

We are having challenges with Lead Management.  Since each "person" is a Lead record, and we are working to qualify organizations in the Enterprise space, we could have a large number of Leads that need to be qualified or disqualified that are all part of an organization.  Challenges:
1.  The related organizations represented by the Leads might not have the same Company Name (i.e. Corporate could be one name and dealers associated with that Corporate entity could all be independent businesses but we want to connect them)
2.  Other than using Marketing Lists, is there a way to qualify or disqualify a large group of records together?

In general, it just seems that managing Leads without the ability to "connect them" is cumbersome.

    You could qualify a large amount of Leads via Workflows.

    You could run an Advanced find where 'company name' contains 'Coca' (to find Coca-Cola, CocaCola, Coca-Cola Inc., etc.) and then qualify them all.

    To make it more accurate, you could have a dialog instead of a workflow where you get asked "Which company do these leads need to be qualified for?" and this will allow you to select an existing company or account in the system where all the leads will be qualified as Contacts and automatically linked to the correct account.

    Does that make sense?
