Hi
I try to run GDPdU export for the first time and do have following issues:
1. Import never ends (Form "Export data" hangs for 24 hours know)
2. I set timeslot from 01.01.2016. to 31.12.2016 but generated File "GeneralLedgerTransactions.txt" shows values from 2017, 2018,...
3. now index.html file is created
Question1. do I have to run the export for each defined table on its own or can I run the export for all defined tables at once
Question2: any suggestions about the problems above?
Hi CRSW,
Might be a bug.
Yet, you will need a developer to analyze and see what causes the issue.
All the best and keep us updated how things are going.
Thanks,
Ludwig
Thx, I will check with one tomorrow. I would be pleased to get an index.xml file anyway. In my case there is none generated
Hi CRSW,
Based on what you describe, the file should be generated for 2016.
I found this hotfix (Issue 3794883 - Germany/DEU: INDEX.XML file shows incorrect encoding in German data export)
Can you check with a developer whether this fix is available in your system and is the underlying reason for your issue?
Best regards,
Ludwig
Any idea why no index.cxl file is generated?
Hi
1. yes there are entries in GL (not in Cust/Vend transaction) but withouth a documentdate. Only accounting date is filled (maybe from migration
2. we have CU12 running. so should be fine
Hi CRSW,
Can you please check two things:
1) Do you have transactional records in those tables for the period from 01 Jan 2016 to March 2017?
2) That your system has the latest hotfixes installed to ensure that your system behavior is not the result of an old bug that has already been fixed. You can find an overview of the related hotfixes for the different AX2012 versions here:

Best regards,
Ludwig
there is data exported but only from April 2017 on. But not for all tables....only GeneralLedgerTransactions, TaxTrans and TaxTable.
The setup looks good.
And you say if you enter 01 Jan 2016 - 31 Dec 2016 no data is exported, right?
Have you checked the trans tables (taxtrans, custtrans, etc.) that they hold records for that period?
Best regards,
Ludwig
so what I do is:
1. start the export on general ledger -> periodic -> Dataexport
2. I select the Definitionsgroup 'GDPdU', and select the tables to export
3. entering the date (e.g. 01.01.2016 - 31.01.2016
4. I enter the data for export
and then GO
Do you mean the 2016 transactions are missing?
Can you share details how you started the GDPDU export?
Some screenprints would help.
Many thanks and best regards,
Ludwig
