Printing a Specific Section

We are using CRM Online and have a custom section that lives on our Account Entity screen.  I've received a number of requests from our users where they have requested an easy way to just print that section without including the remaining details from the Account Screen itself.

Is this possible using the integrated tools?  I don't see any way to create a button or manage print options.

Any suggestions or thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Thank you for the suggestion Guido.  If I use the Word Template is there a way to kick off the report from a button on the Account Page?  I would assume the only way would be to use Ribbon Workbench, but is there an alternate...perhaps more elegant solution to show the button within the section that should be printed?

    Thank you again!

    Hi,

The Document Template feature is available from the CRM2016 command bar on the record form already in a similar way to the reports button so you wouldn't need to create a custom button.

Perhaps another option would be to create a form that only has the section that they want to print and instruct the users to change the form before they print.

    Hope this helps

    Scott,

We're still on 2015 Update 1 for Online.  I haven't seen any notice of options to upgrade as of yet.  So the suggestions from both you and Guido related to 2016 are awesome but may take too long.

The second option of creating a form and instructing users to change to it is a really creative idea.  I think that may work and is an awesome idea!  I'll go in that direction for now and then perhaps adjust it when we get the option for 2016.

    Really appreciate the help!

    Bryan
