Copying Invoice Form to a New Custom Entity

Hi,

I have created a new Custom Entity named Sales Return, 

I want to have have same fields as that of Invoice Form and there would be few fields added and removed.

Is there a possibility of copying the Invoice main form and adding it to my custom entity Sales Return,?

    Hello,

    There is no direct way from UI to copy the fields from one entity to another. If your intention is not to store the data in custom and directly retrieve it from Invoice Form, you could think of using Quick View form.

    You can add the required field froms from Invoice Form in Quick View form in Sales Return

    If you are still looking for copying the fields from one entity to another, you can refer to this article which requires updating xml files : docs.microsoft.com/.../copying-attributes-from-one-entity-to-another. Also please note this is an old information, so please validate it in your test organization before implementing in your actual instance.
