fixed asset inventory year end

I need/want to globally enter the date we conduct the physical count of the company's fixed assets in the field found in the asset screen (FA.010.00).

I haven't found an appropriate process screen to perform this action...anyone have a solution so I won't have to open each asset individually and enter 9/30/2014  in the inventory date???

    Not sure which version you are using, but consider exporting you FA records to Excel, add the date you want, and then set up a TI (Transaction Import) to bring that data back into SL.

    Thanks Walt,

    We are using version 8.12.40821.00 and we are actually considering this approach. I was hoping there would be a function in the fixed asset module itself but this may very well be the fall back.
