    Hi Shambhu

unit cost for the finished goods item will be calculated based on the actual cost of consumption items, unless costing system is Standard, in which case the FG item will get standard cost and the variance will be posted accordingly (but again it will be based on the actual cost of consumption items).

    Thanks Amol,

If I change it manually cost will get update for finale FG item...?

    Example :-

    RM          SFG FG

    Item A Item B Item C

Purchasing cost 10------Production cost will be 2----FG item cost will be 12.

System will get updated 12 for FG.....? or I need to key-in manually this cost...?

The system copies the unit costs from the Unit Cost field on the item card. You can change the unit costs manually.
