We are using Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains 2016 R2 and I was wondering if anyone has a work-around for printing 1099's on the new 1099 NEC forms which are 3 to a page?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello Vlorton,

From a GP perspective, you won’t be able to generate your 1099’s with the new changes unless you upgrade to GP 18.4.

However, there are some partner/third parties that will print these for you if you can provide your data.

You will need to look at upgrading to the Year End Update if you want the changes to 1099’s.

There is one article I was able to find from a Partner that offers this. The link is below.

Tax Year 2021 1099-NEC Form Changes for GP, Acumatica, and Business Central (crestwood.com)

I believe Greenshades and Mekorma are doing this as well and you can check with them. There are likely others and will need to look around for these.

    I hope this helps!

    Thank you!

    Hi,

As Brandon said, without upgrading your 2016 GP to the latest 18.4 build, you're not going to print out straight from GP, as many things have changed for 1099's..

But, you always have the option to export your 1099 numbers from GP and use any 3rd party SW to process and print the forms (or even submit online)

1099pro.com is one that comes my mind and is affordable, but there are other on the web.. just google it "1099 filing online"

    HTH
