    Hi Zaub,

I also started my carrier in Dynamics 365 like you, i would suggest you to first understand What is Dynamics Modules like Sales, Marketing, Service and so on functionally and than you go for technical.

you can start learning basic of CRM from below link, i also started from this :

    crmbook.powerobjects.com/.../learning-microsoft-dynamics-crm

After you understand the functional thing in CRM and you can start with the Development, with the out of the box functionality that is provided by the Microsoft.

And in the last you can go for Customization which are not possible with the OOB functionality that is Plugin and Custom workflow activity. You can get many link for developing plugin and workflow activity on internet.

    Hope this helps you.

    Best regards,

    Shahbaaz

    Hi Zaub,

Customizing and Configuring the product is just one part of the system, but since you have experience as a .net developer, I would try to add a focus on extending the product.

I am not sure if you actually need to do the exams for your job function, but you should definitely get acquainted with the contents of those courses.

There is no Microsoft Exam currently for extending the product. It has recently been retired, and possibly will be replaced with another one in the future.

Take a look at the following link:

    crmbook.powerobjects.com/.../introduction-to-extending-microsoft-dynamics-crm

This is the CRM Book which is a great resource for extending the product which includes both client side development and server side development. The home page for that link (crmbook.powerobjects.com) will cover a lot of other areas of the product.

If you are on Dynamics CRM version 9, I would also take a look at the following Microsoft link which includes links to the new Microsoft Client and Api scripting developer guides.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../developer-guide

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

I would recommend to go through MSDN , because whatever blog people are written all are based on MSDN. You can start with below MSDN reference where you can get everything whatever  exists in dynamics 365.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../developer-guide

For client side scripting you can go through below reference

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg328255.aspx

And don't forget to read community issues and resolution everyday :)

    community.dynamics.com/.../117

    Hope this helps.
