Hello. I was wondering if an individual can post/approve a journal entry if they are in the "ELSE" condition of a workflow. For example, if person A has approver B in the workflow but person C is listed at ELSE and not included in the condition above, would their entry be posted without approval? Is there a configuration that would show this?

I assume we talk about these journals? Parking is not a term we normally use in D365 Finance.

If so, no. The whole workflow needs to be completed. You should never be able to post something without approval if workflow has been configured.

This is what a workflow could look like in D365 Finance. Can you recognize this interface?

Hi,

The workflow approver must enable the journal to be posted; it cannot be posted without approval, as required by workflow validation and conditions. It's possible to reassign the approval to another user, but it's not possible to bypass the approval step entirely.
