AX 2012 - How can I manage multiples chart of accounts whithin the same company ?

Dear All,

I'm new with AX2012 and I need to setup a company which has more than one unique chart of accounts. In AX 2012, I can't find out a functionality which allows the creation of the ledger accounts once; Should I create each account twice, one time in the normal chart of accounts and second time in the statutory chart of accounts ?

Hi MB,

In AX2012 you need to create main accounts per chart of account. If you have a "normal" and a "statutory" you have to enter the main account twice.

You could also consider a customization or another solution e.g. use Excel add-in to manage the chart of accounts if the definitions are the same.
