Removing blank space from a report

Hi All,

I have to remove the blank space (highlighted) from the above report. This space is caused due to a dataitem in which there are columns to display Date, Company Name, Filters headers on the report.

Is there any way to remove it ?

Please help.

    I think you can export the layout to your local system and open it with Word or with the Report Builder, there you can remove the blank part by deleting it. Then you reimport the layout to BC. Maybe you first copy your report and test that procedure with than one, so you will not have to risk damaging your report!

    This is the custom report. I have created it's RDLC layout. This space is due to a dataitem, as I mentioned earlier.

    Hi,

    You can simply hide the Table on RDLC by setting visibility = Hide by right clicking on the Table > Properties > Visibility.

    On your report builder, there is a visibility property on the row. You can put a condition such as if Employee Code is blank, hide the row.
