Question - Wordtemplate with data from Dynamics

Posted on by 157

Hi,

In a Dynamics form we have checkboxes for certain questions.

However when you create a Word template with CRM data from that form, instead of a checkbox Word creates a "Yes" or "No" value based upon whether the checkbox in Dynamics was checked or not.

We want it to be a checkbox with a "X" checked, instead of "Yes" or "No" in Word too. Like it is in the Dynamics form.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance.

You need to build the logic into the Word template.  You'll need to write some code that pulls the result of the Yes/No field and then replaces it with an X or nothing.

This page has some code examples that might help: www.crmsoftwareblog.com/.../word-document-templates-that-use-fetchxml-for-complex-data-retrieval
