Microsoft Outlook is not available

Suddenly getting a message that says "Microsoft Outlook is not available. Do you want to continue to edit the email?" when trying to send a posted sales invoice or purchase order doc to edit in Outlook. Everything I've checked at the server level looks ok and no modifications have been made to any objects.

I had the same error. "Microsoft Outlook is not available. Do you want to continue to edit the email?" when trying to send a posted sales invoice or purchase order doc to edit in Outlook"

I got it working by uninstalling Office365 64bit and downloading and installing Office365 32bit.
