Customizing the HR Status Dropdown while using HRMSS

Posted on by 195

I’ve been having trouble modifying the HR Status field. When I change the values in Modifier, “[Not Found]” shows up in the dropdown list instead of the new values.  This is corrected when I switch to the original “Microsoft Dynamics GP” Employee Maintenance form instead of the “HRM Solution Series” one. Do I lose anything by selecting to use the original form instead of the HRMSS one? Is there any way to customize the dropdown while using the HRMSS one?

https://community.dynamics.com/product/gp/f/32/p/85428/160362.aspx seems like a similar issue but I'm not getting the same "This Datatype name is already in use" message that he is.

We were able to resolve this by deleting the FORMS.dic dictionary and re-performing the customizations to it.
