synchronize the CRM database with cloud database

how to synchronize the CRM database with cloud database

(AWS RDS-SQL server in this case).

 

Scenario is that lets say we have billing calculation done for 10,000 customer on AWS-SQL server. Now this needs to be updated in CRM. Currently we use some sort of synchronization which refreshes each 10 mins and syncs the data from SQL server to CRM. Needless to say we often encounter into error while this sync is being done.

 

It would be nice if someone could suggest a better way to synchronize/transfer this data

    Hello,

    I usually use KingswaySoft adapters for this goal.

    Additionally I can recommend to take a look on architecture of your solution and update not all the customers but those for which data was changed since last sync.

    Adding my two cents:

    If you want to replicate whole database you

    1. can use SCRIBE replicating services also for such scenarios. It will allow your SQL server to sync with Dynamics 365 CE database.

    2. Another options would be to use DataExportServices however it will work only with SQL hosted on Azure I guess.

    If you want to have limited sync (specific entity(s) etc) then

    1. SSIS+KingswaySoft is good option.

    2. LogicApps can also be considered, it offers connectors and can be configured easily, however it can be quite expensive.

    You can use Skyvia to import data from Amawon RDS to Dynamics 365: skyvia.com/.../integrate-dynamics-crm-amazon-rds. You need only configure your import/export in convenient GUI wizards and use flexible scheduling settings to automate data operations. You can set the frequency of data updates — for example, once a minute.
