The work orders timeline notes also are annotations.
The Note(annotation) is one OOB entity, it can be related to all other entities that have enabled Notes feature through 'Regarding' field.
If you want to export notes for work orders, you can use 'Advanced Find' to export these work orders notes.
After clicking Result button, it will show all notes related to all work order, then you can export to excel
If you want to only export notes related to one specific work order, you can filter it with more conditions.
