Historic VAT Returns

Is there a way to review which VAT entries fed into a previous VAT return?

On the current return there are open VAT entries from before the VAT quarter dates. I want to see if these were also included in the previous return i.e. of fr some reason they are not being closed by the post & settlement action

    RE: Historic VAT Returns

    Hi,

To get the entries closed by a VAT settlement I usually do this as a two step process.

For example if I wanted a list of all the entries closed by my Feb2020 VAT Return I'd do the following:

    1) First I filter the "VAT Entries" on Type = Settlement and then Document Number = <DocumentNoOfVATSettlement> as per below (the document number in my case is VATFEB2020) and make a note of the "Entry No"

    2) I'd then filter the VAT Entries page using the "Closed by Entry No" and enter the entry numbers I'd collected from step 1:

This should list all the entries closed by my Feb2020 VAT statement.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

    Gavin
