I know about the pattern in form but Is it mandatory to use? Is there any benefit to use pattern?

1.Yes, you can.

But it is not recommended like that, if you do not want to be limited to the design of form pattern, you can apply Custom pattern.

2.for 2, I think you have not read the Doc shared by Nikolaos.

for point no 1 - what i understand, if i used pattern then it will be the limited scope. if not means custom pattern ( without limitation)

Hi Arpan,

You are supposed to follow any of the standard form patterns for consistency across the system but for scenarios which you cant you just need to apply the custom pattern

Hi @rp@n,

You can change the form design pattern to “Custom” from a form extension, to be able to add your extended controls in a more flexible manner. This solves the problem that you get form pattern related errors when you try to add new extension controls on a form with a fixed, not changeable pattern.If there is no requirement in this regard, it is recommended to use the standard form pattern.

Hi @arp@n,

just some feedback. I feel that quite often you're ignoring the answers that are given to you. For example, I'm sharing you this doc page, and you still keep asking questions that are answered on that page. And then you write "sure, i will go throgh the link shared by Nikoloas.", indicating that you haven't read it.

I recommend that you go through the answers and provided documents before writing new questions. Focus on listening what others are telling you.

And even before even asking a question, try a web search, read the documentation. Otherwise you are basically asking others to search these doc articles for you.
