Setting field cursor on a specific field

Hi,

I have a requirement to set the default cursor while creating a new record through quick create.

Below is the code I have it on load on the main form and it is working fine. SmartSelect_5F00_20200216_2D00_092141_5F00_Gallery.jpg

I called the same function on quick create form as well and it works fine but should I do any tweaks to the code or is it ok to use the same code?

I am new to coding
