One of our clients recently got a new printer installed. All reports within NAV print fine with one exception, picking lists. When the users go to print this it presents itself in letter size and has to be changed manually to A4 for it to print correctly. I changed the printer settings to always print on A4 but the user is continually having to manually change it each print to A4. I've stated to the client that it must be a setting on the printer itself as it worked ok before the printer was installed however they and their IT are stating that it is a NAV report issue.
I checked the report itself in SQL report designer and it was tbh set to letter size. I adjusted this to A4, saved and compiled the report however they are still claiming that they need to manually change it each time. When I double check the settings on the report it is now showing as A4. Each time the user goes to print, the printer shows letter size.
Is there anything else in NAV that I could be missing?
I'm still convinced that it is a setting on the printer - just need to try and prove it.
