Custom Ribbon button is still showing after deleting from Ribbon work bench

Hi Folks,

I have deleted a ribbon button from ribbon work bench but still it is showing in solution.

I have also published but dont know it is showing .It was was a custom button of form.

Please help me .

When you re-open the solution is Ribbon Workbench, does the button still appear there?

Try having a vanilla solution for modifying this is Ribbon Workbench. Only this single entity that it doesn't work for.

If you completely want to remove it, delete the command and then delete the button.

Publish it again, and re-open Ribbon Workbench and make sure it is not there anymore.

If that doesn't work, I would suggest modifying the Xml.

Hi WindyMill,

when Ribbon Workbench code is mixed with direct Xml customization it may behave badly.

Please proceed as follows:

1) Create a new solution

2) Add the entity which has the problem (metadata only )

3) Export

4) Unzip

5) Post xml code

Hi,

did you clear your cache? Did you try in an other webbrowser?

It is probably a caching problem that you are experiencing.
