You have to run each batch complete from start to finish, so why would you want a separate batch for one employee?
We use a spreadsheet to enter all of our employee information and then import thru integration manager. We have a lot of employees that their hours are split between several departments, we do not have to re-enter this information every time because it is in the spreadsheet. (we color code the information that we do not want deleted when we copy to new pay period spreadsheet)
Not sure how to help on the same amount otherwise. You said salary does not work, so your other option is hourly with a set amount of hours. If this does not work, then I would set up a paycode like you would for a bonus.
