I have a warehouse management system application for which i want to manage orders. Below are my questions

1) Is it possible to use pre defined APIs and get as well as post data??

2) Can waves be created within OMS?

3) Can data in the form of excel sheet/csv be passed via API ?

4) How to integrate Intelligent Order Management with a Spring boot application and use it?

I have the same question (0)

    1. Yes, Power Automate Connectors support either OpenAPI or Postman collections for creating APIs that can be used by Power Automate and thus IOM

    2. I am not sure what you are asking, can you please clarify

    3. Power Automate supports reading from excel and csv, and power query/m transforms should support it as well

    4. You would need to build a custom connector (#1 of your questions) and then build a custom provider within IOM Create a new provider | Microsoft Learn

To be more specific on question 2, I meant

how do we create workflows around order processing? For example creating rules that group orders by zip or priority and then execute process on that group(like call a webhook)

Thank u for clarifying my remaining doubts!!

Within IOM itself, you wouldn't be able to do that. IOM works on an event model, where each order is processed individually. We are looking at adding batches, but probably more for lines than orders. Even if we batched orders, it would be all orders that need to be processed, not any special selection.

This doesn't mean you couldn't build something yourself as a custom provider within IOM if you are using the product. Your power automate flow would trigger off whatever you want - recurrence, data inserted into a table, etc. and do the batching yourself.
