Is there a way to change the default Site ID on any of the input screens in SL?  The company I work for has multiple warehouses with employees doing inventory and purchasing transactions for their specific warehouse.  In an effort to save time and prevent error it would be great if the Site ID could default to the appropriate site for the employee.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    You can set the Default SiteID for an Inventory item in the "Item Defaults" tab of the Inventory Items screen.  If you need a Default SiteID at the UserID level, and the Inventory item is NOT specific to a single siteid, then you will need some screen customizations to meet your requirement.

    If you are using OM, you can set a Default SiteID at a UserID level using the "User Defaults" screen, and setting the SiteID default to "User" in the OM Setup screen, Order/Shipper Entry tab.

    Hi

    There is no way to assign the default SiteID at User level. To accomplish this you need to do the customization in User/Site levels. As per SL standard we can assign the default SiteID either  for each Inventory Items under Inventory Items (10.250.00) Screen or each product classes under Product Classes (10.280.00) screen

    We have used a user field in the user table to store default site.  Then customized the screens to look at the user record to set the default site for new records.
