Constraint-based configurations - text attribute not recognized as part number since Service Update 10.0.27

Our D365 F&O was updated to 10.0.27 over the weekend, and now we can't configure our products. We use constraint-based configurations, and specifically we have eight region-based power cords available. The Attribute Type is a text-based fixed-list of the eight regions and a part number for each.

For the past ten years (first on AX2012 and then on D365) when we selected the correct power cord, the part number for that cord was entered on the BOM by just selecting the attribute for the part number. Now, since the update last weekend, none of the text part numbers seem to be recognized. There is no valid selection in the text drop-down box for that attribute.

Any ideas what changed in this update and how to fix it?
