Hi all,

is there an exampleresource to create and schedule KANBAN on MS AX or D365 Operations. I have found a lot of material of how to setup KANBAN but not a full example.

The lean manufacturing article has a lot of resources related to kanban, have a look at there. Unfortunately most of the documentation for AX are very generic and are not educational example-based, but explaining what are the possible options. You can find resources on the Dynamics Learning Portal, or via training courses accessible for partners.

Yes... This is somewhat well documented, but maybe a full scope example and execution example would need to be made...

We're also setting up the Lean manufacturing functionalities. It's quite a journey. You have to look around a lot and dig for information, but once you get through I think it'll work perfectly.

When I followed set-up examples that I found accross the net and in documentation, I often ran into error messages that weren't mentioned into these courses. Looking up the reasons behind these errors then got me further on track. It was usually stuff that wasn't confiigured yet, like units for time (day, hour, minute, second), or Numbering Sequences, or certain Accounts...

Murray Fife has this website with "How to configure Lean manufacturing"
