I am trying to add new financial dimensions in UAT and i see the error in the below screenshot.

To add a dimension, you need to change the system to maintenance mode.

1. Log in to LCS.

2. Click on the project that you are needing to view an environment for.

3. Select the environment you need to activate the dimension for. (click view more details to open the environment)

4. From the environment detail page, click MAINTAIN > Enable Maintenance Mode.

5. Confirm to enable.

6. The process will take about 20 minutes to enable maintenance mode. During this mode only SA's can log in.

7. Once the environment shows Maintenance Mode Enabled, then you can log in and activate the dimension.

8. Go back to LCS. Same steps and Maintain > Disable Maintenance Mode.

9. Wait about 20...then you can log back in (and so can others).

Hi All,

Thank you for the solutions it helps me to enable the maintenance mode however i found a new errorr. I enabled this in the prodcopy now i am not able to login top prodcopy environment in d365.

Wait for sometime then login , it brings system down while changing to maintenance mode

Also, looks like you do not have system admin role for user, any change can be performed by system admin only when in maintenance mode
