Information on 2020 Wave 2 deployment schedule per instance

Hi guys.

Is there any way to get detailed information (as a specific date) about WHEN Microsoft will force update our instances with the Wave 2 update? Do they email administrators with the date?

I would like to know when it is forced on PROD, and plan for success by updating it manually on DEV and QA before that.

Are there any particular risks when our app is already running UCI?

General availability is on October 1, 2020. Production deployment for the 2020 release wave 2 begins. Regional deployments will start on October 2, 2020.

2. Do they email administrators with the date?

- Administrators will not get email with date.

3. Are there any particular risks when our app is already running UCI?

- No, please rest assured.

Thanks Hao.

But I found the general information myself. I was asking for detailed information (as a specific date) - not a 6 months timespan.

If not available, I will need to initiate manually from the Admin Center and hope I will make it before they do it. There must be a a way of getting this info.
