Installing LDX9000/PDX3000 pole display

I am trying to install a pole display with our Microsoft RMS 2.0 and having issues / don't know the complete steps :-(

I found these steps online @ https://www.microsoft.com/dynamics/rms/using/zsheet_linedisplay.htm

I was able to install the driver and tested the display show the test numbers

I also opened the Store Operations Manager and created a pole display message.

On the Database menu, point to Registers, and then click Pole Display Messages. Click New, enter a description for the message, and then enter the lines and settings for the message.

However this step is not there, I can't find the Pole Display tab, it doesn't appear!! (I restarted the computer 3 times as well as the pole display and still can't see it)

12. Configure the device in Microsoft Dynamics RMS.

In Store Operations Manager, open the properties window for the register where the device is installed. On the Pole Display tab, select the check box to enable the device, enter the device name, and then select the pole display message.

For more information, return to the tutorial and click View instructions for configuring devices in Microsoft Dynamics RMS.

  1. To test the device with Microsoft Dynamics RMS, restart Store Operations POS and log on. The pole display message you selected should appear in the pole display.
