Dynamics GP and FTP files integration

Hello Everyone,

I have seen couple of post related to Dynamics GP integration so I thought to post my question on this community. Accept my apologies if my question is not relevant to post in this forum. (I am new here)

We have a client and they are using Dynamics GP 2013 and having own CRM system to capture Sales invoice with Analytics and Customer info. Also they have a facility to export data from their CRM into file and store those file in their FTP Server directly.

To capture all additional sales invoice data from CRM they have customized the Dynamics GP sales invoice window as well.

Client wants to eliminate manual data integration process now.

Does anybody has have an idea which integration tool is best suitable for my requirement?

    With customized sales invoice data and their own CRM, a custom set of code can do your work which will be developed specifically seeing the things you already have and design the solution to fulfill your need.

    Hi Almas,

    Clients have their own CRM and they want to integrate their data from file which is an .XML and is stored on their FTP server. They are looking for an integration tool which can automate the integration process in order to avoid the extra effort of writing and modifying the code.

    So far, we have come across integration tool after searching on Google i.e. SmartConnect, IM and vkonnact. But we aren’t well aware which of them will be better.

    It will be very helpful to us if you can tell us which tool will be beneficial to us

    IM and SmartConnect are good, we have used them for our clients, but even with those tools you have to do some work to make things happen.

    Hi Sherry,

    What exactly customization has been done on Sales Invoice entry?

    Apart from standard Sales invoice fields which are the other field’s value you want to integrate with Sales invoice?

    Hi Brian,

    Client has customized Sales Invoice Window to capture additional 7 fields’ value and store those values into one additional table along with the Invoice number for linking.

    Now, client wants to integrate their Sales Invoice data from XML (FTP Server) along with the additional those seven fields’ data to GP Sales Invoice Window.

    Yes. Further you have custom table which definitely not covered by IM and SmartConnect.

    Hi Sherry,

    Seeing your requirement I feel VKonnact is best suitable for this.

    I have seen VKonnact and the requirement is achievable with VKonnact.

    As VKonnact supports FTP files integration manually as well as scheduler for automation.

    For your seven additional fields’ value in Sales Invoice, VKonnact supports Custom Features through this feature this task can be achieved easily.

    I have seen in your post you have specified Analytics, I just want to know that by Analytics do you mean Analytical Accounting? If yes, then VKonnact supports AA.
