SharePoint 2013 buttons not working in Dynamics CRM 2016 (On Premise)

Hi everyone

I was hoping someone could help me with a SharePoint List Component issue we're having after upgrading to 2016.

The grid / iframe on Documents has a couple of links, Up a folder, New, Add, Edit, Delete, Open SharePoint, Actions - and it seems these don't work anymore. When I click on any of those links / buttons, nothing happens. Nothing gets triggered or happens, just a hover over.

We have installed the latest update to CRM as well as install the list components on the SharePoint 2013 site (SPs). The SPs is validated and the URL is valid.

I'm thinking it's something to do with cross domain browser limitation, but it's just a shot in the dark...?

Turns out the old 2011 list component was still enabled on SharePoint, so I managed to get that disabled. Now it works in 2016.

    How to Upgrade List Component

Below are the steps you need to follow in order to upgrade your list component.

    a) Go to the solution gallery of the site collection where your current list component has been installed.
    b) Select the existing list component (wsp) and deactivate it.
    c) Now delete this list component file.
    d) Once it is done, upload the new list component (wsp) file.
    e) Activate this new list component.

Please make sure that you have followed these steps correctly and in the solution gallery list component is shown as “activated”.

To summarize all this information, the tables shown below explains which list component version to use with different configuration of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft SharePoint going forward.

I resolved this by changing the IE 11 Compatibility Document Mode to 10
