Can I set the Default Dashboard on Dynamics 365 Tablet app

Hi experts,

I'm customizing my Dynamics 365 on premise IFD project for the dynamics 365 tablet app, but for some reason the Sales Dashboard is the default dashboard for the tablet and seems like I can't change that.

Although the default dashboard is available on tablet but it's only available through the Dashboards tab.

Do you know any way to set the default Dashboard for the tablet app or show the user's default dashboard if possible?

    Have you gone to a dashboard and selected properties and enabled for mobile?

    Yes I did, the default dashboard is available on the tablet but not as the default one.

    It's only available in the dashboards

    Depending on version have you modified the sitemap / app?

    I can't check changing the default dashboard at the moment although I know the Sales dashboard use to be the only default for mobile.

    Do you know how to change Dashboard on tablet:

    Go to Sales dashboard.

    Click bottom right and then "Select Dashboard", and select your Dashboard.

    Then you can select "pin to home"

    I know about the "pin to home" option but unfortunately my requirement is to set it to be the default instead.

    I tried editing the site map and still the Sales Dashboard was the default one for the tablet

    So (as they don't use the sales dashboard) for solving this, I edited and renamed it to be the same as the default dashboard and made it the default for both the website and the tablet

    Hi Omnia Kotb, Can you let me know whether are you able to see the Default Dashboard in Tablet app.

    I'm also facing the same issue in Tablet app. Is there any work around apart from the above approach. ?

    Hi Siva,

    Sorry for the late reply. I resolved this by:

    1- Customizing the sales dashboard to be the same as the default dashboard and renaming it to have the same name as the default dashboard.

    2- Deleting the default dashboard.

    3- Creating a new custom sales dashboard.

    So this way the default dashboard was the same on the web and the tablet.

    This is the only way I could fix this but still the user's default dashboard would unfortunately still be unavailable.
